Lately the Stone, Two Step and Warehouse for playing.
Singing and playing would be Grace is Gone, Gravedigger and Bartender.
Your friend just curious or is there some dark, ulterior motive? ;)

My favs to play/sing are Gravedigger, GIG and Bartender.
Minarets is fun...espcially that funky run....sounds nice.
Say Goodbye is also a good one that's not too tough.

minarets is really fun to play, i like to play along to L@LC, WWYS->minarets. i played it with my friend on the drums, he would hit a different tom to every note on the run up. that got me:bounce
but two step, warehouse, bartender, grey street.
i cant quite get down grace, when i sing and play it. but i love playing it.

Where can i get a tab for Gravedigger? I would LOVE that one.
I'm usually stuck on Trippin' billies, Jimi Thing, OSW, Grey Street, Angel, LIOG, WWYS, space between, and DEFINATLY Ants Marching.
But I REALLY would like to get a tab for Gravedigger. That song rules.

Cyrus Jones, 1810 to 1913
He made his great grandchildren believe
He could live to one hundred and three
A hundred and three is forever
When you're just a little kid
So Cyrus Jones lived forever
Gravedigger, when you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
Gravedigger
Muriel Stonewall, 1903 to 1954
She lost both of her babies in the second great war
You should never have to watch
Your own children lowered in the ground
I mean you should
Never have to bury your babies
Gravedigger, when you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
Gravedigger
Ring around the rosie
Pocket full of posies
Ashes to ashes
We all fall down
Gravedigger, when you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
Gravedigger
Little Mikey Carson, 67 to 75
He rode his bike like the devil
Until the day he died
When he grows up he wants to be
Mister Vertigo on the flying trapeez
Oh, 1940 to 1992
Gravedigger, when you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain, I can feel the rain
Gravedigger
Gravedigger, when you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
Gravedigger

Dave plays it like this:
E--------------------------------
B---------------8---3--3----3----
G---5-----7-----4---x--0h2--0h2--
D---2-----4-----5---4--x----x----
A---3-----5---7-7---5--5----5----
E-5-5---7-7----------------------
But this is MUCH easier and also works quite nicely:
E--------------------------------
B---1-----3-----8---3--3----3----
G---2-----0-----7---x--0----0--
D---2-----4-----5---4--4----4----
A-0-0---2-2-----7---5--5----5----
E--------------0----------------
Don't bitch at me for posting bad tabs, I'm just trying to show something a little different and lot easier that works pretty well :)

I can sort of manage the stretch, but when I am just messing around, or if someone asks me to play it for them, I just dont play some notes....like, on the first chord, I skip the 2nd fret on the D string, on the second i skip the 4th fret on the D string, on the third chord i skip the 4th fret on the G string (hehe) and play the last chord normal....like this
E------------------------
B---------------8----3--
G--5-----7-----x----0--
D--x-----x-----5----4--
A--3-----5-----7----5--
E--5-----7--------------
and play whatever picking/strumming rythum you normally would play

I have Dave fingers cuz even the billies nature intro is cake for me :) my list of fav songs to play would have to be:
Grey Street (amazing on 12 string)
Seek UP--->Two Step (An awesome transition)
Warehouse
Jimi Thing
Captain
Bartender
So Much To Say
Halloween (Killer)
And i'm so pissed that Dave plays YoiNK in a funky tuning, cuz the more i listen to that song the more i love it!
peace ya'll...:D

I know the song wasn't finished, probably, but I always thought After Her's lyrics were kind of jarring. Like they didn't quite flow right or something.
I'm not too much of a Satellite fan (little too nonsensical for me to really like it) but I think its lyric pacing is better. Theres a little more structure. AH sounds to me like he was just making them up as he was going.
To each his own though. ::shrug::

Well I wish I could play satellite but i am still practicing. ;)
I like plahying #41, Heathcliff's Haiku Warriors, and Lover Lay Down a lot, also the accoustic [Live At Luther College] version of Halloween is really fun to play. Short but fun. I have an extended improv version of it to stretch it out
