Anyone interest in downloading 5.10.02(Denver) and 8.2.00(Shoreline) on SVCD

I want to say thanks for the nice words. Im glad I can share my experience.

If James is down with hosting one or both to hold you over on SVCD until I get my standalone DVD burner I will be glad to share the two direct off my master dv's.

Ill need to find somone that knows how to convert on to svcd that has the highest quality capture card as well as dazzle and software to capture at the best SVCD quality and also synch the best auds to the recording. I had someone who could do this but do to problems I need to find a more reliable source if not It will be sometime before I can put this together and Im sure by that time Ill have my dvd burner as well as others and we will do a mad mass b&p for 4.20.02, 4.21.02, 5.9.01 amongst others.

Ill also see at the very least if I can get 8.2.00 on mpeg direct off my master dvs so that majority of everyone can download the whole show or track by track in very good quality. But again its all up in the air right now until I can find a solid source to help me with this. If your unable to play these clips either on mpeg or svcd format Ill do some b&ps in the future for 8.2.00 direct off my master dv's synched with coluzzis aud.

Sorry the 2002 DVD stuff is taking forever to circulate but I promise it will eventually to be shared by any fan that wants to check it out.

Also I just taped yesterday Our Lady Peace accoustic set and It was recorded live off a local radio station. The program director is going to give me the recording on disc. Its really amazing because Rain(sorry if spelt wrong) the singer notices me taping him and at times just looks directly at me as he sings and its just really amazing stuff. So maybe we can get that hosted too. Very very killer!

Hell yeah Ethan.... people will love that stuff. Hope all is well with you....we have lost touch...:)

anyhow......just a suggestion....don't do it track by track. Most media players won't queue and I remember being frusterated watching an old MPEG tracked like that and having to load teh next track manually everytime.

well i figured for 8.2.00 I could do svcd complete and on mpeg just track to track for those that have internet that cuts out on them or just dont have the time to dl a whole show which who knows how long it could take on 56k for some.

Ethan....I can definitely help. I have a ATI TV-Wonder and I am able to capture at SVCD resolution (480x480) with virtual dub and then sync audio and then convert to SVCD format with TMPGEnc....let me know if I can convert these for you.

have fun with the ATI card...the drivers suck so bad....and their software is horrendous(sp?)....but once you get past all the trouble its not bad at all

Maybe we can send 8.2.00 on mpeg track by track to someone who can host it on a webpage for fans that dont have the highspeed or alot of time to download at very good quality, if some clips I have seen on mpeg from 8.2.00 looked good from a 1st or 2nd vhs- Im sure mpeg format will look really nice direct from my master dvs. Thanks Donald, you have busted my chops in the past but I know you had and have good intentions and understand your thoughts on putting things to vcd/svcd to circulate amongst fans for years to come:)

Ethan - as much as we'd love to help you out, it really isn't possible for us to host any videos of shows that arent a webcast, for legal reasons. Obviously we are a high profile site, and hosting an illegal recording will no doubt catch us a ton of flack.
