I like playing classical style although I have no formal training. I've got tremolo down pretty good but I'm interested in learning more advanced techniques. This is an extreme example, but I want to know how things like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQ9PRzIyzFA are even possible. I can't really tell what he's doing with his fingers.

Also is there a correct way to change strings if you're playing a fast melody with your three fingers?

Anyway I'm just looking for any good comments, resources or practices on more advanced classical guitar techniques.

Maybe you should try to find a classical guitar forum. I first started learning classical, just the basics (romanza, greensleeves, malaguena, jesu), and then I got into dmb. That video is pretty amazing. Have you learned "Recuerdos de la Alambra" or whatever it's called? I remember that had a lot of fast drones in it.

Sorry I never posted anything, but I just have nothing to offer. I CAN play classical style tunes if I really try, but I taught myself almost everything. I just play by ear and tab.

Sorry that I can't help.

thanks for the responses guys

I actually did start learning that Recuerdos de la Alhambra thing recently, the beginning isn't too difficult but I haven't gotten much further
