On certain servers, proudestmonkey for one, at the moment, is completely blank to me, both in active and passive mode. I am using bulletproof, anyone have any other panaceas?

i read your post... and didn't forget about it... im trying to think what this could be but i can't... the only thing it usely is, is passive mode on or off.... i guess... try in one mode... then shut down the software then start it back up... change the settings and try again...

i know for smartftp you can switch between modes during same execution of the software

Well make sure that you have active transfers on. And check to see if you are loading the listing from cache.

It has happened to me countless times some servers only work when you have it set to connect in active instead of passive mode. It is under the firewall settings in BPFTP if you are using that and looking for it.

Remember always listen to gbs :lol

I for a fact do not allow passive connections to my server. If you have PASV mode on, you will NOT get a dir listing.

One other thing to check. How is your free space on your hard drive? There might be an issue with temporary space as well.

Try to keep a min. of 2 gig free at all times; sometimes dips below when I have a full concert of .wavs, but always get it burned before moving on to the next.
