View Full Version : Need to replace a show, Mabye.

The show is jsut the 5/14/02 from the Tonight Show. I got this show in the mail and i went to take the post-it off and the top covering of the cd came off and now it wont play. IF there is a way to fix this so i can reburn it would be cool but otherwise i am looking for a trade. List is in Sig.

And you should ask the person that sent it to you to send you a new one....

It was a TDK and I would ask the person but i seem to have forgotten his/her name.

did you try a stomp? maybe that would help...

I havent tried a stomp because I have no clue how to do them. Dont even know where to start. Want to help out? Reason for this is that i dont really like stomps, dont know why. But if this works i may change my mind.

well if you dont like them...then i would just redo the CD.

But you can go to best buy and get the fellowes NEATO software and it comes with some stomps and you put the CD in...find the stomp you want, and print basically, its not too difficult, or you can leave it blank and put it over the top...whichever you prefer.

Well, if i cant find someone to help me out with this, I will tryout the stomps, never know i might jsut like them after all. Thanks for the info.

Just topping to see if anyone wants to trade me 5/14/02 from the Tonight Show before i go out and buy all that stuff for stomps. List is in Sig. Thanks

just my 2ct, but i don't think stomps are worth wasting your time in this case. it sounds like by pulling off the post-it you accidentially removed the reflective layer of the cd, and in this situation a stomp is SO not going to help you :(

If you can find some sort of reflective material that can be "painted" onto the CD, then the laser may bounce back down from it. That's a bummer though:(

That happened to me once as well...I had to replace the show.
