Just got my new Martin today. Absolutely love it!!!
I'm not sure if you all remember a thread I made a few months back but I had a Koa Tacoma Chief that I was moving on from. Great guitar in it's own right but I wanted something a little nastier. I sold it and got an Alvarez MD60 (for an incredibly good price) and it had renewed my desire to play and play often. I was fortunate enough to get a 2nd guitar and I sprung for this used Martin D-15.

Before I've stayed away from picking up too many Martin's in guitar shops mainly because of the price but I really was drawn to this model. I'm a minimalist at heart and the all Mahogany setup was just too much to pass up. I WAS ALMOST sold on Guild's GAD25 model but I'm definitely super happy I've made this choice!
I'm sure some of you can fill me in, but I THINK this A Frame 'X' bracing makes so much difference to the guitars overall sound and resonance. I can feel this puppy vibrating against my chest like no guitar before.
Nonetheless, there is nothing really of value in this thread other then my gushing about Martin's and the D-15 but I'm too excited not to share my opinion. It's going to be a long night but I'm now a HUGE HUGE fan of Martin guitars.
