I need to free up some space on my hard drive since right now the CC is a little tight and I cannot afford a new hard drive. Has anyone tried WinRar'ing a SHN show and buring it to a CD? I know some of my shows are over 700 MB and I want to archive them off.
So any suggestions???

If a show is more than 700 MB, just burn it to more than 1 disc. Sometimes, I'll only be able to fit discs 1 and 2 of a show onto one disc, while disc 3 will go on a second blank. That's my method...

.raring the files will not help make them smaller they are already compressed. Just burn the SHN directories

good call, in fact i was even considering to get a tape drive (would be nice to play from as well, hehe - and just imagine having 30 lossless shows stored on one single medium :) )
i usually fill a bunch of cdrs with d1 and d2 of shows and put the rest together on one cdr. however, this is SO not the way to go if you have many shows :p
