Is it down or something? Because I can't get to downloading anything...
I get this when I push Login to view the shows...

"Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Apache-AdvancedExtranetServer/1.3.23 Server at shns.antsmarching.org Port 80"

Sorry if this a stupid post, as I am a newbie at the whole downloading SHNs off of the ants server.

Remember you have a 1GB download limit per 24 hours.. might be your problem

That happens when you d/l 1GB of stuff in 1 day. The rule is that you can only d/l 1GB per day, and after that, it stops you. That happened to me today as well.

yeah i know of the rule . . . ive been able to download 3 songs since tuesday i think . . . no worries . . . i'll get them soon enough

You are receiving this error message because of the 1GB limit.

The Downloading FAQ (http://www.antsmarching.org/music/downloads/faq.php) addresses this.

The server is definitely not down. In the past 20 days, the server has dumped over 1.6TB of data. Yes, TB.

i sometimes, but rarely, get that message even if I haven't d/l anything for days. It won't connect but usually when I try again I can get in.

How does anyone ever get on any of the servers listed on Ants? Everytime i have every tried i have been told that the max # of users is already reached..........i use smart ftp w/out success........

Luck of the draw. Before I became a site-op I just had the best of luck. I was always able to get on the servers after trying for about 10-15 minutes.
