Pretty sure there isn't already a thread for this show, unless it's under some under obscure name not like Italy or Rome.

So, isn't anybody going to this one? My brother bought us tickets for my graduation gift and we're gonna try to get over there on Sunday and stay for hopefully a good bit of the week.

So freakin' excited! Never been abroad!

We're second row right in front of the stage, apparently (after the GA area, which he tells me isn't too large)

I'm considering the Milan and Rome show! Can get free airfare using miles. Now for room, travel to/from Milan, and tix. Ooolaalaa I want it to happen! Glad to see you are going!

I am going to the Rome show. We didn't decide to book till pretty recently so I think our tickets are a little farther away---but who cares very exciting to see them outside of North America:monkey

Awesome, glad to see we're not alone!

Anyone have any hotel reservations yet? The number one thing we're not sure on yet is that. Hostels are okay but we can get a decent hotel, private room for not much more we're sure. We just don't know what area is good over there, stuff like that. Need help!

I haven't made any reservations yet for Rome. The concert arena is a little out of the way if you are looking to stay somewhere closer to see the sights from. I am hoping to stay somewhere closer to the Spanish Steps and then taking a bus/train to the venue.

I am not sure if you are planning to travel Italy after to concert (we are). I got a great deal on a decent hotel in Florence on Orbitz (about $140/night (Canadian) with free internet and a laptop provided in the room). The hotel is Hotel Globus - Via San Antonino, 24 50123 Firenze (FI), Italy.

Let me know if you hear of any Rome deals.

The one my brother just booked he got a recommendation from someone. Hotel Romae, near the Termini station. We're only paying $163 for 2 nights. Looks pretty decent; private bathroom, free internet, breakfast. Looks like a nice area thanks to Google streetview :thumbsup

We're gonna just stick to Rome/Vatican Monday, Tue and Wed and decided to fly to Paris Wed night! Leave there after breakfast Sat morning.

Flight from Rome to Paris is only $100 total for both of us :)

We are actually coming in from Paris on the day of the concert. We're spending 2 days there before Italy. Our flight was about the same $. I wish it was that cheap to fly around North America:freak
