2009 I just happened to luck out on buying night 2 completely by chance. :D Best night of my life. The venue and area are great, although the police at the grounds are crooked. It could be just because of how stressful everything there is, but watch out for them. Just get there, relax in the parking lot (or grass) and wait for the best Dave has to offer! NYE was pretty solid. Had a huge turnout to our 'black & white' party, so that was pretty cool. The decorations, games, and food was perfect. New Years day we had a breakfast party with those remaning and proceeded to be incredibly hung over all day. I think we even had nap time :lol

I stayed up that way in 2002 at a little cabin and enjoyed it. There's a bunch of small independent places up there.

Hmm, I'm not sure. The problem was that they were trying to fill the lots in order and they didn't want people parking in that particular area of the park (over by the auto museum) until the other lots were full. The main lot didn't open until 4pm, which is where everyone ended up. The best thing to do is to tailgate inside the park, since you can go there basically as early as you want. The problem is that it costs $6/car to get into the park, and I don't think people wanted to pay.

I've only seen part of one episode, since I don't have real cable, and I actually fell asleep during it! I need to watch so I can see what all the fuss is about.

I'm allowed to take 4 classes a year, so the way I see it, I'll make $3600 more this year by taking the classes.:hump The sad part is, I have my Associate's from Hudson Valley Community College, and I'm pretty sure it only cost my parents $3500 a semester for me to be a full time student there! Private colleges are sooooo expensive!

This site lists out the hotels right in Saratoga Springs. You could also stay in one of the nearby towns, such as Clifton Park, Malta, Ballston Spa, South Glens Falls/Glens Falls. A hotel right in downtown will be approx. 1.5-2 miles from SPAC, but you might be able to save some $$ if you stay in a different town. However, nothing beats only having to drive 2 minutes to get back to your hotel after a concert!
