Need a band logo... Image Software [Archive]

Maybe this isn't the right place to ask, but does anyone have a suggestion as to what free program i could use to make a band logo. Im trying to avoid figuring out how to download photoshop off of the torrents for free. Any advice? I just need to make a cool looking "MG" with an oldschool reporter hat on top

GIMP ( gimp.org ), yet another alternative to the Photoshop.
