There are a lot of sources saying that this show is going to happen at Citi field in July. If it does not, we can just lock the thread up.
But if it does happen.. whos going? lets get this started.

I will be there! It should be two nights right?!?! I already put a hold on a room...the Holiday Inn which is within walking distance of Citi Field and easy access to NYC!!!

Does everyone think the Warehouse will offer a VIP package with these shows...like with Fenway?!?!

theres a good chance i'll be there. depends on the rest of the schedule. these shows probably won't be too high on the priority list, but they'll be some of the last ones most likely, so they can always be added on down the road.

man, i'm really torn on this one. the only other time i've been to NYC was for Randall's '06 and of course, had a blast. i got to see a mets game at shea, missed the yankees game because my plane was late sitting on the tarmac.
i'd like to do this, but since i've been to nyc before, i feel obligated to hit boston, alpine, spac, wpb... somewhere new first. i guess it all depends on how the tourdates line out.

if im going that far out of my way i better be getting city sum :lol
and if the schedule is what it might be, theres a good chance i wont be going. 5 shows in 8 days is a bit too much. and these shows are going to be expensive. it is NYC after all. if anything, i think these might be late adds if i have the money at the time.

buh! NYC is only 2 hours east for me. why the hell would i drive 3.5 hours north first?? the trip would be like 4 times longer than it needs to be :lol

The 7 train doesn't have a stop at Penn Station.

You can take the LIRR from Penn to Citifield. (It'll cost you between $6 and $12. - not sure of the exact price at the moment.)
Or, if you prefer taking the subway - You can take the 7 train from Port Authority or Grand Central. (A subway fare is just over $2.)
(* If you're taking AmTrak into Penn Station, take the subway up to Port Authority - the 1,2,3,A,C,E lines all go from Penn to Port Authority - it's only one stop.)

I'll be there both nights, considering that it'll be the only good headliner at ShittyField all year long. Look for me in my Halladay jersey. :)

I sure hope so, me, my girlfriend & a couple we're friends with have a condo we rented in wildwood nj the week leading up 2 the citi field shows. Right now I'm planning on going from the wood to my cousins house out in long island sat morning the take the train 2 citifield sat afternoon, pre game then get in early & walk around a little b4 the show 2 take pictures & c the sites, there's soo much 2c in there the stadium is by far 1 of the best ballparks in the country. After that enjoy a bad ass show & head back 2 toga in the morning & work the day after.
