Yeah I heard before those concerts someone at a meet and greet asked about shotgun and said they were glad that they were playing it. Dave replied by saying "yeah we do too and we'll keep playing it until we get it right"....

I'm seriously considering coming down with a handful of friends (via plane or rental car) and making a week-long vacation out of our stay and catching both nights. If we were to visit by plane, I'm not sure of the costs of a rental or the legallity (oldest of the group is 23) behind it, so a taking a bus of some sort might be ideal....is there such a thing that goes to/from Cruzan?

Just any sort of information would help me and making this decision easier. Thanks

Definitely stay at PGA for the show nights, it will be discounted and totally worth it. We havent arranged a bus in years past, but it is a possibility if there is enough interest. It also is Wicked early (yea I dropped it, but i'm from NE) to start planning, wait for dates and Ants may organize something again.

9. Stay up until the sun rises after partying at the PGA and having Jessie's famous Jello shots
10. Wake up slightly hungover and go right back to the pool for Mojito's and a group shot in the afternoon
11. Muster the strength and sobriety to get to tailgating
12. No words needed, N2
13. Another night of debauchery at the PGA, you might remember some of it, but most likely will not remember most of it, but don't worry someone will fill you in later

Well most of the R&R is spent either by the pool before and after shows and tailgating (a lot of the PGA goers don't tailgate) but I sure as hell do. Walking into a venue soak and wet or walking out of a venue soaking wet is not fun.

I didn't say all...... but a lot do not tailgate. I guess I could have been more specific, a lot of PGA goers don't tailgate from gate opening-8. I typically will wake up around 10 stay by the pool until around 2 then head out.

WPB is tres expensive. I always stay at the WPB Lakes La Quinta. Hop the backroads to amphitheater. 10 minute drive. The beach is the beach! Think $125 or more. If you want to drink from Solo cups used by the band onstage while playing Rock Band and being massaged by 97 Virgins whose fathers are Augusta National Members you may peek into The Breakers. If that's how you roll?

I would like to explain the tax situation in Florida. We do not pay state tax. Tourists pay it when they visit here! Nicest roads in the lower 48. you can't escape it. I always Pricelined in Palm Beach Lakes. $60 a night for a nice room with pool. I have a kid so the PGA ain't for us. She already sees the heathens at the show

that's easily solved and i was a first timer last year. make friends, then you get a ride to the show and tailgate. i promise it's worth it. go in with no expectations and the memories you make in 48 hours really lasts you a long long time. you NEVER know who you meet and what will happen. that's your best bet. :monkey

They fucked up on the rate. It's not actually 99 they had some sort of computer error. We talked to the manager earlier and he said the rate is 139 plus fees and anyone who already booked will be getting bumped to that rate.Say what?:freak

The guy I just talked to told me that it was $139, but I mentioned to him that it said $99 on the site, and he bumped it down for me. So, it's worth asking about.

The reason is because they have a golf tournament that weekend so the hotel will be filled to the max and they get the major allocation of rooms for their rate.

Not much they can do about it. The tournament has prob been scheduled for a year and this just came out this week. Plus it IS a golf resort ;)

i put in 2 for all 3 fla shows otherwise i would, if i put in 4 tickers i won't get as good of seats :freak
