Looking to start a tribute band, (or at least just get together and jam) in the Houston or Austin area. I've been serious about this for a while. I'm a drummer by nature-influenced by Carter, of course. I also play guitar and do vocals. I'm looking for any musicians whol love the work of DMB. So, this Join My Band site, what is it? To sum it up, Join My Band is a free musicians classifieds site, split into two sections for the UK and US, where you can post your musicians wanted/available adverts to help you get your bands going. Simple eh? That’s the idea!
Since its launch in October 2006, Join My Band has grown rapidly, with thousands of new musicians signing up every week, and judging by my inbox, many of them are finding the band members they’re looking for not long after signing up!
We also try to do our bit to help out bands here at Join My Band. We’re looking to introduce more reviews and interviews with unsigned talent to help give bands that little bit more exposure - and while we’re on the subject of the reviews/interviews section, we’re currently on the look out for writers, so if you’re interested in writing for Join My Band, click here to get in touch!
