Don't understand the hate on here for certain songs. Just because they're not your favorite, doesn't mean the band doesn't love playin them. Funny was a song the entire crowd got into at PNC and while it's not my fav on that CD, it rocked that night. Eh Hee was pretty good as well. Don't understand why some people on here like to spend their entire time complaining about their favorite band

Good Good Time Bomb. That's a natural title segue, if nothing else.
Have there ever been songs played back-to-back where the second one's first word in the song title is the last word in the previous song title? Ha, trivia to the extreme.
How about if they play You & Me into Me and Her?

I shit myself when GGT popped up tonight. Definitely my favorite tune from '04, and one of my all time favorite DMB tunes. They need to play this one at The Gorge this summer. I will die.
This whole set is just great. BEF>Bartender Pig combo, The Maker debut, LIOG debut, JTR near the end of the set, and yeah GOOD GOOD TIME returning.
I love this set. Can't wait to download.

Cotton is right, dave played solo as there a bunch of signs in the front, started tease as band took stage for encore, and just kept going as the band nodded and smiled. He had to play at least a minute after band was in place. Thought they would jump in, but I will take it.

That show was amazing.
Oh yeah, I just got back. I found out on the car ride up that my tickets had been upgraded to AAA which meant THE front row which was an amazing experience. I was made fun of and jeered at by a group of stupid high schoolers (not that I'm not one) to the right of me and a video of me freaking and jamming to Pig will probably be up on the YouTubez soon.
This was my first Dave concert. And it couldn't have been better. Everything about this show I loved. And I may be wrong, but I thought I heard the first few chords of Halloween at the end of Watchtower, but that could be me just wanting it so bad since I had been chanting that the entire night.
But in general, looking at the set now. Squirm was a great opener, and I sang along awfully loud to Stay or Leave. BEF > Bartender was HOT. Again, I completely lost it on Pig. You and Me was You and Me, a good song to sway and sing along to. LITHOG was one of the best if not the best LITHOGs I've heard, it had an amazing jam at the end that really had me moving. Still Water > Don't Drink was amazing to say the absolute least, the lights were going crazy. The Maker was a huge surprise, I didn't expect it but it was an amazing song. JTR midset was beautiful, I sang loudly to that as well. Funny the Way It Is is the song that the guy I brought with me started listening to Dave on so we really jammed out to it, but it was solid. People hate me for it, but I love Can't Stop, 'nuff said. Eh Hee was great, a lot of energy to it. Lie in Our Graves was great, I actually shouted at my friend who asked what song it was (since he's a relatively new song) "Holy shit, It's Lie in our Fucking Graves" so that was hot, and the jam was too, and as much as I like the outro, it going right into Corn Bread there was great. Corn Bread was hot and Dave was dancing like a madman which was hilarious and great. I thought Shake Me was going to close, but then they jumped right into Ants which was fantastic. If you can't tell, I'm running out of adjectives. Then the encore came, and Dave played Some Devil to which my friend was awkwardly hit upon by a very very very intoxicated girl. The Good Good Time tease was amazing, everyone was going crazy because of the excitement. Time Bomb into Watchtower was great too, and like I said I think I heard the first few riffs of Halloween which excited me.
Regardless this show was amazing. A great first show, a great show overall.

The show was awesome. Far exceeded my expectations. Even though I saw a bunch of these songs earlier in the tour, the mix tonight was really good.
Pig was awesome, LITHOG seems to steal the spotlight everytime I hear it, LIOG was a big surprise, nearly shit when Good Good Time started-the lyrics were awesome! I like the new ending on Watchtower and Ants is Ants. A bunch of other good stuff in the set too JTR, Big Eyed Fish, Bartender, Stay or Leave, and Squirm is growing on me as an opener. Didn't care for it at SPAC but I really got into it tonight.

Tonight was by the the worst DMB show I have ever seen. While the band was playing hard, Dave simply pressed copy form the sets from Hershey and Pittsburgh and simply tossed people a bone with LIOG and shit on them with the maker....which by the way not even his wife wanted to hear I am sure. I have seen many DMB 2 night stands, and I'm counting BEthel and Scranton as one, and I have never left a show wishing I was not going the next night. In all honesty, If i had my scranton lawn ticket with me and someone said I'lll give you ten bucks for it, I GLADLY would have sold it to them. This show was so horrible that tomorrow night cant possible be worse, dave with have to come out on stage, jerk off and then say good night for that to be possible...simply an AWFULL show.

You're an idiot. This show was absolutely fantastic. The energy was amazing from every member, and Dave was really feeling every song they played. Great crowd, great set, great energy, an overall great show. Sorry if you think it sucked just because the set list sort of resembled a couple of recent shows. The band sounds amazing and they were playing their top game tonight. I'll gladly take your Montage ticket since obviously there is no pleasing you.

The bands energy was amazing, but busted out something other than the maker...play something like WWYS, Rapunzel, The Stone, Seek Up, etc. to show that your at least trying to mix it up a little. He knows the band well enough. I would've gladly brought the friend who turned me on to the band, hands down however he was going with HIS GIRLFRIEND with tickets that he won on a radio show. my mothers first show tonight!
got two front row seats today thanks to randy, in different sections though
found a guy in second row right behind one of the seats and asked if he wanted front row, closer to the center
he said yes! i got his second row seat right behind our first row seat....so i gave my mom the row AAA seat and sat right behind her for the show. she held my LoVE sign the entire show too!
i had a sign that said it was my mom's first show
Dave took a second to read it during the show and carter read it and was loving it! tim was loving it too
after ants, carter came over and found us... he shook my mother's hand and talked to her for a minute then gave her a drumstick :)
Dave came over to shake hands after the show, but some girl who was not sitting up front pushed up in front of us and shook his hand, my mother didnt get to--oh well, maybe next show ;)
I thought the show was great though, LIOG was awesome, though i was hoping for the reprise!
i freaked out during the GGT partial, ahhhhh-that was amazing

As I meant to say in my orginal post, if this was your only show this summer you left happy, but having been to Hershy on friday, this show was just a repeat in a different venue. The bands energy was amazing, but busted out something other than the maker...play something like WWYS, Rapunzel, The Stone, Seek Up, etc. to show that your at least trying to mix it up a little. I just left Dave hit repeat tonight and it was just not the show I hoped for.
soo.... u thought hershey was a GREAT show... then tonight they hit repeat but you didn't like this show ? :confused

Yeah I saw you, haha. I was the one making a mockery of myself in the AAA row to the right of the section you were in. And by making a mockery I mean dancing and jamming like a fool. Yeah. Hahaha
i saw you! with your friend! you two looked like you were really enjoying the show, it made me smile
i love seeing people up in the front row who are having such a good good time;)
much better than the other people around there who weren't dancing or singing at all.. they looked miserable
good to hear u had fun tonight!

So you brought a guy who doesn't even know the band to the front row? Definitely should have brought someone else. Are you friends with whoever turned you on to the band? I bet he would have loved to have been there next to you to join in your embarrassing Pig dance. Seems kinda douchey to me....
i saw him and his friend, they were having an absolute BLAST up there
i'm sure his friend will be a big fan of the band from now on

That just made my friend and I quite happy, I was being videotaped by scary children to the right of us for the pure purpose of making fun of me. That wasn't so nice. But yeah, we were having quite a good good time haha, everyone else did look really miserable, it was quite a shame. There were the two girls behind us and that was pretty much it for those who jammed.
But I'm happy you saw us, I thought i recognized you from Ants, I guess I did.

good show tonight. not amazing, but still very good. solid opening 5 song run. LITHOG was a beast. could have done without The Maker, just because it seems like it follows me. JTR was a nice surprise. FTWII, Cant Stop, Eh Hee was a rough stretch, but they made up for it with LIOG, Cornbread, Shake Me, Ants. not the flashiest of songs, but you can't deny the excitement and energy the band brings for those 4 songs. encore was alright. wish dave would change up the encore songs a bit. so many other songs can be played instead of SD and TB. GGT was interesting. Watchtower was a good end to the show.
i had a couple friends go to the show with me tonight. the one was at his 2nd show, and the other it was his first. they both loved it, and the first-timer said to me in the car while we were still in traffic that he is converted to the DMB way and that he could go see them again and again, and that was before i even told him that every concert is different :lol
i had the LoVE sign tonight in Sec 2 row J. noticed Dave was looking my way during Pig during a part where he says love a couple times as i held the sign up. Carter tossed me the first stick after Watchtower.
definitely a good night tonight. can't wait for tomorrow.

Speaking of those LoVE buttons, will you have any at Scranton tomorrow? Or will anyone have any? Is there any way I can grab some?

Ummm...wow.
You must have missed LIOG
This show just proves you can judge a set by whats on paper. That was easily the best performance of all of those songs i have seen. Including Ants. Fucking awesome show.
LIOG was perfect, Ants was tighter then ever, and Watchtower amazed me again. One of the most enjoyable shows i have ever been to.
First time at Bethel and its already one of my favorite venues

YES. I heard the first few chords, I got incredibly excited. I had been chanting all night and I thought it was happening. Hopefully tomorrow, I'm in lawn so my chants won't matter, but all of you need to make sure it happens.

All in all a very well performed show at an amazing venue. After being in portapotty hell the last few weeks, what about a venue with granite countertops in the bathroom. I have a particular love for this venue becuase I remember its development and also hoping that DMB would play there.
The band still sounds great and has a ton of energy. I am kind of sad that tonight is my last show (Scranton) until their next tour, although honestly with 4 shows in 8 days I gotta get some rest soon . . . I am old!
That said, I have to agree with those who were hoping for a more diverse set. My GF who was at her 3rd show (the 2nd being Hershey) even recognized that it was quite repetitive. I am not unhappy, but would appreciate hearing some different stuff tonight. I do agree also that the Maker is a waste - one of those songs like WAYG that I like hearing when I am home relaxing, but am not a fan of in concert.
I will also say that the Bethel Crowd was the best one I have been around in a long time. The rain and venue opening after 4 may have limited the underage binge drinking, but it was exactly the kind of environment that I like to see a show in.

No your the idiot, as I was simply offering by opinion with plenty of reasons tp back that up. I left Hershey on Friday floored by the set, the energy, and the bands performance....that simply did not happen tonight.....this was my 27th and its the first time I've ever left a show pissed off....this band has pleased me plenty before and I expect better from them than I got tonight.
Sorry, but you do sound like an idiot (although I didn't actually hear you speak these words, but am reading your setlist-like words). They satisfied you 26 straight times and you light into them for what you deem is one off night??

NO! Premium Parking is in the middle of the lots... yes you will get to your cars quicker but the amount of ppl walking past is going to screw that plan up
false. premium parking was easily worth it. i was out of the venue in under 10 minutes. and no, i didn't leave early.

Will57 is a bonafide HATER whose girlfriend likely dumped him in the midst of The Maker; hence, his hatred for what I consider a great tune, even if we did get it at Bethel last year. This year's Bethel show DOMINATED last year's show in every conceivable way, and I happened to enjoy the show last year. I can't imagine anyone hating this show at all.

Yeah, sure; overall it wasn't the best show I've seen by far, but I saw so many songs that I had yet to see live...DDTW, BEF, Bartender, JTR, and more. Maybe everyone else gets sick of those songs, but I can't afford to get out to see tons of shows every tour. For me, because of those songs that I hadn't seen yet, last night was quite a treat and I'm so glad I went!
PS, anyone who can leave a DMB show pissed needs to spare themselves the unnecessary anger and just not come. Also, don't rain on my parade.

This is my first show of 2010. (this is the first year I missed SPAC since '06...but I was in Africa). That being said it was alright. I went with my mom, it was her first show.
She was pretty bummed that every song she hates was played (Can't Stop, The Maker), but he surely made up for it with JTR, Pig, LIOG, etc.
Not my favorite show, but definitely not horrible. I was SO happy that he played JTR..took me 13 concerts to hear that one. Anyway, I've decided to hit up Citi Field both nights...hopefully I manage to get front row n2 with general admission!

I just was so blahhhh if that makes sense, there was never that holy fuck moment that you expect from a DMB show. Even LIOG, I love the song but its not a holy shit moment. Maybe if they played all of GOOD Good Time maybe, I just felt they mailed it in tonight with a very predictable set that anyone who went to Hershy (me) or Pittsburgh saw already.
I agree man. The show was blah. The only "holy fuck" moment was LITHOG.

Thought I would share my 2 cents of the venue and setlist from a 33 yr old experience concert goer who probably saw Dave over 80x since '98
Must have - Preferred Parking Pass Why? B/c when it rains like this, you don't want to be caught in the field with soaked socks/feet. Also, shorter walking distance to the venue and easy escape out b/c you're car will be up and running before other people get to their car. Left during the encore at like 10:45, in my car before 11 and my head was hiotting the pillow at midnight in Orange County NY.
Parked in D3 with portapottys on the side under these 2 small tents. Apparently my date found out that you can gain access to the venue there, scan your tickets and then wisk you away on an extended golf cart that cuts through the back woods of Bethel that more looks like nicely designed Arboretum with well cut grass and distrinct features. This grossly cut time down walking through the herd of people and getting frished. BTW, we were never patted down going this way.
Walked in right at the time I wanted too at 8:30. Was a little disappoited that he was already on stage playing Squirm but whatever. The rain held off during the show itself was greatr but didn't matter as I was inside the pavilion.
Setlist was great, caught a few nice surprises. As an experienced fan, I heard all the old classic songs a MILLION times...do I really need to hear it again? I know I already heard these songs played a helluva lot better from a long time ago then to hear them again now. So I love to hear them jam to the new stuff and the rare stuff.
All in all, a good show. Had 3 extra tickets that I couldn't sell. Oh well...
Citi field on Friday...here I come!
Just d/l this morning. Thanks to the taper for such a great recording!!! Sounds awesome

this was one of the shows where i was fine with the clunkers, because the non-clunkers were phenomenal (and that's maybe an understatement).
we got 3 tour debuts (all of which are great, great songs....it's not like they debuted 'everybody wake up' last night), and one of them hasn't been played since 2004.
