The tough part for me is that I know Stefan hates this set list, and therefore is not enjoying himself on stage, whether it looks like he is or not. It's going to be hard for me to enjoy a standard (frankly lazy piece of shit) show knowing how badly Stefan wants to open things up.

Man, I am sooo pumped to take my g/f and a bunch of friends to Camden n2 this year, its all of our first times at Camden and some of their first shows. I REALLY hope we get a better show than this. I hate hate hate setlist complaining, hate it with all my heart, but now that july 1st is nearing, I am starting to feel a little worried.

it is. its tolerable if the whole set is filled with good songs. the bad songs expose everything with this band that is flawed. JTR opened every other show, PM > satellite basically in the same psot every night. billies in the same spot, 3 BW songs in a row early in the set seems to be a consistant thing with this tour.

I am pretty sure this is my first negative post about a setlist the band has played, but the Corn Bread, Road, Can't Stop, Crash, Spaceman run is below DMB standards. It's been said before and I will finally agree that Dave is out of touch with the hardcore fans, who have been so dedicated to seeing this band every summer.

It's true. If you don't believe, just listen to 10/27-10/31/09 where they attempted to play every song off every album in 4 nights. Almost got there too. You're always guaranteed variety with PJ. Used to say that about DMB, but this tour isn't looking too promising.

I like Dave but he has to understand that a lot of us go to multiple shows and would like to see some diversity. They are very capable of playing varied setlists. Dave just chooses to play it safe every night and play the same stuff over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

"Ok, JTR opens, then, uh, Monkey Satellite, some Big Whiskey songs, Danny can guest, we'll do Cornbread, maybe Spaceman, Road, put in Can't Stop, close with Ants? Nah, Ants then Stay, encore Time Bomb then Fonz can solo into Watchtower."

And then he just fills out the set in about 3 minutes and it's done.
