Yeah, given the crowd turnout the past two years, in addition to Dave even mentioning how much fun they had playing there in 2008 and 2009, I don't see how they could've passed on Riverbend this year. I know the rumor was that the festival in Louisville wouldn't let them play Cincinnati this year, but I'm glad that was merely a rumor!

I'm going lawn for every show I go to but the stadium shows (PNC and Huntington). I have to try and save a little money somewhere since it's going to cost me roughly $175 after shipping and fees for the two GA tickets thru the warehouse.

I will admit that the lawn at Riverbend might be the worst I've been on. It doesn't change the fact that I still love it there. I consider it my home away from home (with Blossom being home). :)

My friend copared it to jumping in a shower with your clothes on, turn the heat on as high as it will go, inviting 20 other people into that shower who will smoke, molest, and urninate on yo, while watching DMB on a iPhone screen.

I hadn't given much thought to it but you are probably right. Blossom is only 3 days after the Columbus show and the more dedicated fans might even make the trip to Clarkston for the show on the 23rd, the day after Columbus.

I am going lawn for every show but Columbus and PNC where I will have GA tickets. Good luck to those of you who are requesting pit/pavilion on the WH and even more good luck to those of you who will battle TM!

I got 800s last year through Warehouse. I'm buying for 4-5 people this year, so I have to go through Ticketmaster, unless I go lawn. It's Riverbend though, so lawn is not even an option.

I'm not worried though. I've had success before.

Yes it sure was. I was in the lawn until the older couple left early and gave my GF and I their tickets. Spent the last four songs, which included Halloween, right in front of Dave. Amazing.

It just depends on where you are on the lawn. In 2008 we were about 15 rows back in the center of the lawn and I had a decent view. Lots and lots of drunk teenagers. I'm going lawn this year but I'm not too concerned.

Yes. I strongly suggest getting pavillion. Unless you are going to the concert b/c you'd rather watch your 16 year old girlfriend throw up on others than watch the show...then the lawn is for you.

The first year I requested Riverbend tickets they gave me 700 in the outer section, which sucked, but every year since then I've been in the middle sections.

I actually got sec. 800 first row in '08, but I found some better ones in sec. 600.

That's how I feel. Their rules should be simple, but they always confused the hell out of me.

I'm done with the WH at the end of the month, so if they're not in the Pit I'll just sell them.

Just went and checked myself, and looks like I got charged for all of my shows this summer too.

Bash them all you want, but I think the WH is worth it just so I don't have to put up with the stress of getting tickets to MULTIPLE shows all at the same time when public on-sale starts. Of course, now that I think about it, I should have asked my girlfriend's dad to do the Amex presale for me ... Oh well.

Warehouse Confirmations Will Be Posted February 25th

As previously announced, we will be posting confirmations on Thursday, February 25th in advance of the Friday public on sales. Once we have posted, we will send an email asking members to check their Ticket Status page to determine if they have been confirmed or declined. Confirmed orders will reflect the exact ticket type. Members that are confirmed for reserved tickets will have their actual seat assignments posted several weeks after the confirmation date. Tickets will not ship until 10 business day prior to the show via FedEx 2-business day signature required service. Once confirmations have been issued, if an order is confirmed, members may update their shipping addresses by clicking on the “check” link under the Payment Detail column of the Ticket Status page next to the confirmed show.

As stated in the ticketing guidelines, cards may be charged at anytime after the ticketing request period closes and confirmations are issued. Please direct any questions to whtix@davematthewsband.com.

depends on where you are...if you park in RiverDowns you can tailgate..if you park in the Coney Island entrace (I don't recommend this) you cannot tailgate and security rushes you in they won't even let you even sit in your car.

I've always gotten their late because of work, so I park at Coney Island. I've never had trouble getting out. I don't know what it is like for the other lots though.

:thumbsupYou can get two free seats from Lost Highway Records (the record label for DMB openers Robert Earl Keen and Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears).

They reserve 2 seats to shows their artists play and this applies to the DMB tour as well. These seats usually go unclaimed and are available now for five or so shows. I already claimed the ones for Omaha.

In any case, you have to join the label's street team to claim them. I hope this doesn't sound like a scam. But it's free to join so you don't have anything to lose. You also have to watch a 2-minute video.

You could show up and hope the box offices get some good seats dumped back into the pool, but Stub Hub is your best bet.

It is quick access to the gate going out to concessions and BR's which is nice. It has been a Warehouse member's haven it seems, as there have always been lots of Warehousers there (and ANTS) - which also is a plus (fewer Brah's and semi-fans, and less idle chatter during songs). No obstructed views. A lot hinges on how close to the middle (or edge) you end up.
