What's the must do's for WPB? Where to stay? Daytime activities before the shows? Where's the best place to fly into?

PGA is where you have to stay. Very, very nice place and it was really cheap last summer considering the quality of the place. Instead of your classic tailgate it was poolside-pretty freaking awesome if you ask me.

I think the boys and I are coming from DALLAS for these shows! One of our boys goes to UTampa so we've got there to stay and drive to WPB, stay at PGA.

Tickets hard to get for the 2 night stand? First year WH member, put in request for 4 tix to all 3 shows...

I'm going to Tampa and both nights at West Palm Beach. I have two tickets to all three shows and just me going so far. I'm also still looking for a place to crash that night in West Palm Beach. Anyone have any ideas?
The Ants gathering is at the PGA National Resort... I think you can still get a discounted rate of $139 (but they also stick you w/ a $20/night resort fee). It's in Palm Beach Gardens, which is about a 15-minute drive from the venue. If you want to be close to the Ants gathering but don't want to spend that much, there's a Doubletree down the road that's pretty nice... you can get a room for around $80. There are also a number of hotels near the venue, but I don't remember which ones people usually stay at. I always stayed with relatives who lived just a few minutes away, until they started having the Ants gatherings.

yea we usually have brunch with the fam (dad's and ants) and then head back. you're more than invited to the brunch and or our house! :D

we're on summer vaca so its ALLLLLLLLLL good!

Yeah....stay at the PGA. It's definitely worth it if you can swing the price. As for Tampa, I always stay right across the street. They aren't the snazziest hotels...but they're within drunken walking distance! :lol Just be careful though, I think I heard once that a girl died that way. :( So just keep a watchful eye.

The girls who got killed were crossing the interstate, I-4. No worries about crossing to get to the hotels. They were trying to cross the interstate to get to hardrock quicker... not a good idea.

Yes!! It was very hot last year! Combine that with being very hungover (and possibly still drunk ;)) with being upset that I was leaving such wonderful people....my stomach was not at its best that day! :lol

No I cut out Atl for the Gorge. I know, I know, but gotta make a sacrifice to make it to Heaven's Amphitheater. :lol

We're in Section 7 for N1 and then sec. 4 for N2. Definitely looking to move closer to center on N2.

This time last year I was eagerly awaiting the Phoenix>Vegas spring run. Phoenix was 5/6 and Vegas 5/8-9.

:multi Hello Ants, back again for a few weeks before and after the Tampa show. I must say I am actually looking forward to the show this year - I'm only taking my daughter. Wasn't even planning to go after last year's nightmare dealings with the venue (which I still think totally blows) but after hearing they were taking 2011 off I snaged a couple of decent seats in Section 16.

Pardon the stupidity. But I noticed on stubhub for Tampa and WPB - the closest tickets are GA PIT. There are really pits? Like, where people stand? I thought there were seats down there? Eh?
