Hey, Hopefully of of the guys from Tempus will see this. I got your cd a couple of weekes ago and love it and it is really starting to get around with all the burning. I just had one request...is it possible to see the music or tabs to any of your songs? I especially like the guitar in 'who am I'. Let me know what can be done.

Hey Drew! Its Jose from Tempus! Im glad that our music is getting around! feel free to burn 100's of copies! :D
Unfortunately we dont have tabs/or sheet music to any of our songs :( BUT that is a great idea and maybe Chris (guitarist/singer) can make tabs.
Where exactly are you from? What state? We are out in NJ-
Ask your friends to check out our website and save MP3's from there and join our mailiing list if they want!
Thanks again and feel free to ask any more questions!

No worries about the music, I thought I would give it a shot. I am from California and live near San Fran. I think a couple of my friends have made it to your website. Funny story...I was at a party last weekend and all of a sudden I hear one of your songs so I go ask where they got the CD from and they said someone jsut burned it for them. So there is the proof that you guys really are awesome. Let me know if you guys ever do write down the actual music. Also, how long have you been playing together?

HA! Thats some good shit man! Thank you a 100 times! Sometimes i wonder if people actually sit down and listen to our music... and i guess sometimes people do. in anycase ill ask chris about gettin tabs to you- Do you play guitar?
Chris and I have been jammin for like 3-4 years now on DMB tunes, but in the last year and a half we formed a band, wrote some tunes and recorded the album.. but we had to let our bass player go.. So thats that- feel free to ask more questions!

I play guitar, tell Chris he rocks and I love his style. I assume you are the drummer and you too are playing really well. What are some of your favorite dmb tunes to play? And hows it going with finding a new bass player? Finaly what was it like recording an ablum?
08-05-2002, 06:32 PM
Ill tell chris what ya said! He is definatley a good guitarist/singer- Thanks for all the compliments- We usually jam out to #41 , stone, actually any thing! grey street is always fun... as well
We havent found a bass player yet unfortunately.. we are trying though...
Recording an album was probably the best time of my life so far... Being in the studio.. i mean we were in the studio for a week and we recorded those eight tunes that are on there... I wish i could be in a studio all day for months straight, it was an awesome experience- I dont regret any thing i have done with the band
Thanks again bro!

Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable.

I got your IM, but I was cooking and now you're gone.
The page tries to load and your banner loads at the bottom. When it's almost done loading, I then get that error. It is probably my system.
Anyway, I'd love to check out a disc, or b&p or something. Let me know.

Thanks a lot. I really enjoyed that. I listened to them all twice. I'm thinking Torn For Two is my favorite, but Grass is a close second.
I can hear some heavy DMB influences in there. I like it!
I'll buy a CD when I'm not poor. :(

You remind me of ameneon's band (he's on ants, nancies and the bridge), Moist. Their website is down at the moment, but I'll let you know when it's up again.
Any chance of getting an import to Australia? :D I'll spread it around in Aussie, and in Norway when I go home for the holidays.
Keep up the good work!!

Hey man thanks for the reply! Anyways all of our music is available on our site www.tempusband.com and our CD is available for purchase at www.cdbaby.com/tempus - im sure they'll deliver to Australia, but the easiest way is to DL our MP3s they are full MP3's anyways.. good shit man! thanks

Yeah, I'll either download it all, or try to get it sent here. I've listened to the music ever since my first post. You're really good.
As a the original poster said, tabs would be really helpful. :D
And Moist's website is up again, as you'll see from my other post.

I'm bringing this thread back from the dead ...
How's everyone doing? I haven't been on these boards in a LONG time.
Anyways... We got a new bassist for a while... but he just left, so again we are left without a bassist. We do have a new lineup though, we added :electric guitarist and keyboards.
We just got back from our second trip to the studio... check out the site for details - www.tempusband.com
Thanks again ...
DL some live stuff that we have... muwhahahah
Spread the love!

Hello 9 1/2 year old post....I happened to be looking through my old computers files with music and found the few songs that Tempus had on their demo CD that I got at SPAC many years ago when I searched you I found this thread..are you guys still playing at all? I saw the website was down so I figured that's a no. Still loved those demo songs though!
