So, myself and my two best girl friends are going to Alpine Valley and The Gorge together. Since warehouse only allows 2 tickets for each of those shows, we are forced to wait until Feb 26th when they go on sale to the public. Does anyone know if livenation will allow us to purchase three pavillion seats together? I would hate to wait until Feb 26th, just to find out that livenation will only allow two pavillion tickets also.
Thanks :)

It will allow you to purchase 3 (up to 8 i believe) in a row...Whether there will be 3 in a row in the pavilion available is another question

I'm flying to Texas that day, so luckily my friend is responsible for getting the tickets. I ordered the tickets from warehouse, shes getting the livenation tickets. I'm pretty sure I got the sweet end of this deal :bounce

Actually, Rebekah, I'd say your friend won here.
Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is sweeter than trying for tickets right at 10 A.M. online along with legions of crazed fans. Really gets the blood flowing

Pardon my ignorance but is Live Nation better than Ticketmaster, I've only ever got tickets from Ticketmaster. Is there pre-sales at Live Nation or is it easier to get tickets through there, whats the deal?

Why Live Nation is better:
Last year on Wednesdays, Live Nation offerred specials with no service fees, or tickets with a food voucher for like $30 total or so, stuff like that, which ticketmaster doesn't do No clue if they do it again this year, hopefully tickets will be hard to sell across the board again so they will be forced to.
Also, Live Nation has a seating chart option where you pick your seats. With ticketmaster you have to click "best available". So if you would rather have tickets straight back from the stage, but ticketmaster thinks the best available are tickets closer to the stage but on the side, then that is what they will show you. Also easier if you can piggyback seats, Also beneficial to get two singles close together but not side by side, etc.

Um...but if you all notice, Ticketmaster only has 3 shows listed this year (the last time I checked anyway). This means that the vast majority of shows can ONLY be bought on Live Nation this time 'round.
Either way, they're basically the same company now anyway so we're all getting screwed regardless. :shrug

no way. the merger is for the benefit of the consumer. it will lead to lower convenience fees.

Happens every year, alot more shows will show up on Ticketmaster in the next couple weeks, so don't count on most of them being available on Live Nation.
