isn't this the show with the terrible wind....

i think it is... and we should be lucky that we got Chucks because he wasn't going to release it cause of the wind issue... but a month went by and there were no other recordings to spread so he released it...

all in all, yes his is the only 5-9-02 being widly spread... and there is nothing else to note... it was just a bad day to record but i think Chuck still did a great job with the given conditions...

not the only one. there's a dpa 4011 tape too.

haven't seen it though... thats the sad thing...

have you compared the 2?

know how me or any of the siteops can get ahold of it to help spread it?

don't have it, hasn't been converted as far as i know, but will be soon.

o ok... now i understand.... yea... there are a bunch of sources out there... but they aren't being spread because of quality issues... if another does come out... all the better...

4011 > v2 > ad2k recorded in 24/96, needs to be dithered down and resampled to 16/44.1, then mailed to me. once i send marc the discs i owe him i'll be getting it. i've been dragging, woops...

Yeah, it's the show with the wind interference.

I must say that I am appreciative of ALL the tapers who so generously spread their work. Conditions aren't always the best but they pull through anyway.
