So I've read that its official that they are gonna be in the Chi for a weekend. (Fri and Sat) Anybody have any idea when this will go on sale for Sept 17/18th?

just wait for them to announce it. its going to be some time between now and september, but its not like they're going to go on sale 17 minutes after they make the announcement about the show. its going to be GA field anyway, so if you're worried about getting close, you'll be able to get GA Field for a long time.

dont believe its official yet. they could still be the July 7th Wrigley date that is open. Tour bus must go thru Chicago from Alpine (the 4th) to hershey, PA (the 9th) anyway...

i read something that said september, at the end of the tour. and from what i remember it was like definitely going to be then.

both were possible dates - july and september. the july was initially for a possible Elton/Billy show like last year, but their tour is over at the end of March. the date is still approved for a show. it would fit the DMB schedule perfectly.

Here is hoping its in September. Gives me more time to save money and plus the September dates are two nights instead of one in July.

I talked to Sammy Sosa last night. Asked him if he had heard anything about the rumored DMB dates at Wrigley Field. He said, "Baseball has been very very good to me." Then I asked if it was a done deal. And he said, "I like to hit the home run." That's about all the confirmation we need. It's gonna happen!

well the article that I read said that Billy Joel has not had a 2010 summer tour planned and never will. someone heard a rumor and decided to let it loose, so now there are a bunch flying around...
