Im looking for a good program to record my guitar onto my computer. Preferably not very confusing. I downloaded Logic Audio Platinum and dont have a clue how to work it. I got Pro Audio 9 and dont get that. With that one I plug in my guitar to the input(people say the mic plug but it doesnt work) and the sound comes out of the speakers but doesnt effect Pro Audio. How do I get this to work? Anyone know of anything that works and is very VERY easy to understand? If you know of somewhere with an easy to understand guide thats good too. Thanks.

acid pro is the way to go man. soundforge is useful too but acid pro is easy. it may look confusing but its not. all you have to do is setup your guitar press record and then start and off you go.

sorry but i dont know what a guitar press record is. I think a good start would be for someone to tell me how to plug in and set up to record. then any other help would be great.

i think he meant set up your guitar, press record....
to connect the guitar to the computer you need a guitar chord from the guitar to the computer (as you would plug into an amp HOWEVER you need a piece that converts one end of the chord to a size that fits in the back of your computer.... then go to yahoo and search for a program called Internet Audio Mix... it doesnt allow you to do effects but you can record as many tracks as you want to and it allows you to overdub all the tracks which is cool
