What do I do about a nasally voice?

I just finished recording myself, and to my shock, my voice is too nasally, are there any excersises i can do to solve this problem?

j/k actually there was a thread on here WAY back by Soups41 about singing exercises. I dont recall if being nasal was on there but you can search for it and if not his screen name is the same has his username so you can drop him an IM.

would second hand have the same effect? cuz my parents and brother smoke, and i get alot,

or do i have to strt b/c they just went up liek a dollar a pack here in PA, and i'm kinda broke

Focus on breathing from the stomach and singing from the chest... also, sing a lot... all the time... I'm convinced that simple practice solves most problems. Listen to early Dave... it took him a good 4 years to rid himself of the nasalness...

sing is all i do when i sit on this computer, cuz there is nothing else to do...thanks for the help...
