View Full Version : Am I the only one getting really low speeds on the http server?

I used to get about 190 KB/sec. Today I'm getting about 50-60 KB/sec. Is it just me?

Do you have any idea how much traffic that server handles? And you think 60k is low?????

Yeah, I know, but I usually get about 180k.

at the T1 here at work i ususally get about 300-600k/sec. now for the past couple days i've been getting about 70-90k/sec. so a good deal slower for me too.

by the way, matt, your icon is the coolest thing i've ever seen.

mine has been shooting up to ~1.0MB/s for 10-15 seconds, then it slowly dropes off to ~100KB/s

There really isn't anything wrong with the Download server it is just in really high demand right now. Everyday more people find out about it and then all the shows are in demand. The more shows the more demand. And with the recent large amount of shows I don't expect it to calm down until after the tour. But I will have you know that anything above 20kbps is concidered very good.
