? about DC and dmbshnhaven, please help!!!

hey all. is something going down w/ dmbshnhaven? i keep getting disconnected and with all this talk about it getting shut down should i be worried? also, what other DC sites could i get get shows from in shn? is dc.antsmarching.org one? the link on antsmarching .org never works for me. what others are there and where can i go to register for them? any help is appreciated. thanks guys and please help me!!!!!

I myself do not use DC very often.

But what I do know is that for dmbshnhavenii, is if it ever does go down you should report to the dmbshnhavenii main website for and IP to connect to. As for disconnects or specific questions you should probably deal with it through them.

how do i deal w/ the IP? i don't quite get what you mean by that?

An IP is a location/id number. It looks like this: 64.185.549.54

You can place that number in the location box on DC and it will connect you. You get that number for their website if the hub ever goes down.

Just go to www.dmbshnhavenii.org or whatever and go to the message boards.

It's all elitist bullshit. It is down until they find someone else to operate it. Christie found like 5 people it was just the matter of choosing the right one. DMBFAN, a member, ok well he decided to start a new DC hub, and the only way you can get in is by sucking up to him for a login or whatever. So there has been all this bullshit arugments going on the SHN Haven message boards about this crap, and how it's turned into practically WW 3 over two god damn hubs. So Christie shut down The Haven until things calmed down

Well, the DMB.Share hub has been up over a year now without problem, if anyone is interested, the IP is now Dynamic, but is routed directly to by this addres:

dmbshare.servebeer.com

There is no registration process or anything like that. And everyone is welcome to share what they like. MP3, SHN, RKA, APE, WMA, MPG, ASF, AVI, is all welcome..

I just want to take a few seconds to clear the air regarding the so-called "shut down" of DMB SHN Haven II. Christie has in-fact decided not to run the hub any longer, but it is still up and running w/ a new owner. All current members can connect using the new dns pointer, dmbshnhaven.dns2go.com. Currently we are not accepting any new members, but that will soon change. The hub is merely in a state of transition, no need for alarm.
