I am new to this torrent/seeding thing. Our usual DMB crew has been altered a bit due to a loss earlier in the year and another loss we learned of after N2. Needless to say this years shows at Alpine meant a lot to us. How do I download this and burn it for a friend?

First you need a torrent download program. Search utorrent and d/l and install. Then click on the file name on here and download it. Itll take just a moment. then you'll open that file with utorrent and it will begin to download the actual content. They will be in a .flac format. I just listen to them on my computer, but to burn them I think you will have to convert the file to another format. However, doing this will cost you some quality. I'm not as sure about getting it onto a CD. Hopefully someone can expand on that. For now, this should get you started. Most of it should be in the FAQs

Once you have the .flac files, you can convert them using Winamp. Download the .flac conversion add-in (I use File Writer plugin). After the plugin is installed, open Winamp, Options, Preferences, Output, highlight File Writer plug-in, Configure button, Fill in directory you want the files saved to (i keep it the same as the .flac files), format - mp3, OK, Close. Then play the files. It will actually convert the files rather than play them. Give it a few minutes and you will be all set. Works well for me.

Don't forget to change the preference back to the NullSoft DirectSound for normal playback after you are done.

I use the .flac files on my PC but for the car I use the MP3 files.

I only seed the .flac files to honor the people recording and upping the files.
