alright does Dave himself play bartender in drop D, I know tabs list it and thats how i play it too. But if he segues into bartender from BEf (which is not in drop D) what does he do. Does he tune to drop D during the interlude to Bartender?

From my understanding he switches guitars while Boyd plays the violin part at the end and beginning of BEF and Bartender. Thatd be what id do anyways.....too bad i dont have someone to switch a guitar for me when i play :D

Yeah, he switches guitars, I usually just tune down while playing that D at the end of BEF... if you do it right (with the right hand) while holding down the D it can sound pretty smoothe...

yeah and too bad u dont have two $6000 guitars so that you dont have to do somethin that takes 5 seconds. hehe
