So I am trying find out some more information on Pro Tools 9. Some of the other threads I read were a bit to techy for me and I wanted to know some of the upgrades.
I know that if you have the ilok you can use protools without using an interface but can you then take that ilok and put it on other systems? I guess I am asking if the ilok saves your productions so that you can open them up on other computers similar to the way a usb drive can open a word document on different computers.
Also, can you use any type of hardware interface with PT 9 or does it have to be avid or digidesign?
