Court papers were filed today in Los Angeles.

Charlie Sheen, who does everything in a big way, is suing Warner Bros. and Chuck Lorre and his production company for $100,000,000. (Did we put enough zeros on that for $100 million?)

Sheen is asking that he - and the Two and a Half Men cast and crew - be compensated for the balance of the season's 24 episodes. Much of the basis of the suit seems to be that Sheen hasn't been fired throughout all his past transgressions; why fire him now? The papers claim breach of contract, among other things.

Sheen's lawyer, Marty Singer, starts the lawsuit by slamming Lorre:

"Chuck Lorre, one of the richest men in television who is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, believes himself to be so wealthy and powerful that he can unilaterally decide to take money away from the dedicated cast and crew of the popular television series, Two and a Half Men (the "Series"), in order to serve his own ego and self-interest, and make the star of the Series the scapegoat for Lorre's own conduct."

Nope. It happens all the time. Even in very gun friendly states (like Texas). As part of the restraining order, you are prohibited from being in possession of firearms (usually temporary restraining orders though).

The craziest thing is that while most of the shows are in large theatres, the two in Florida are in two of our biggest arenas--the Times Forum in Tampa and BankAtlantic in Sunrise. I know BankAtlantic also has a theatre in it, but is he actually thinking he can sell 19,200 tickets in the arena?

These "special" tickets are $750 a pop, and you're giving a single dollar bill from all those sold to the relief? For one, I really can't believe you're seriously going to get that many people to throw down almost a thousand bucks for the show, even if you do get to meet him, and it's the one dollar of just those tickets that help Japan.
