im not buying that. the D+T show is a 3,000 ticket charity event. thats not boosting the bottom line too much.

also, with the last 2 festivals so close, pretty much anybody who is going already has tickets, and anybody who can't go doesn't. not too many people are going to make a last minute swing in their decision. if 10-15 shows are adding for 2-3 months from now, those people who couldn't go to the caravans, for whatever reason, will likely try to get to these extra shows. additionally, the people who already have tickets for the festivals, a lot of them will also be getting tickets to these extra shows just because its hard to turn down a DMB show when they're in the area.

hey guys i should get bashed i completely understand the anger- im more angry at myself for starting a thread before knowing what the announcement itself actually was... i technically was connected to a PA of the band who informed me of a major announcement today... he felt it had to do with either red rocks or some sort of show in vegas.... he told me about the dave and tim show 2 days before the band announced it... he told me about the 4 festivals around new years 2-3 weeks before the band had even announced the festivals.

im sorry i caused so much anger and ill promise to keep information to myself in the future.... again i was going off what i had been told around noon today that some big announcement was happening- turns out it was just jeff which pissed me off as well... i deserve every im getting.. sorry
