I second that. I'm wondering if you are playing a sitar or something. Cause whatever chord shapes you wrote up there, they don't jive with a guitar. Like a G chord looks like this: 320003. A C chord : x32010. A D chord: 000232. Are you talking about muting all of the open strings? Like this in a G chord: 32xxx3? What does it sound like when you do this thing you do?

ok between the cord changes... OK heres an example u know when dave does the solo in watchtower the bar cord part ..u know how he mutes between A G and F ....i do that all the time..even between open cords...but in every song and i i ususaly dont notice im doing it....but i dont know if its normal to do
if that makes ne more sence
so it would look like this in tab

5 5 5 x x x 3 3 3 x x x 1 1 1
5 5 5 x x x 3 3 3 x x x 1 1 1
6 6 6 x x x 4 4 4 x x x 2 2 2
7 7 7 x x x 5 5 5 x x x 3 3 3
7 7 7 x x x 5 5 5 x x x 3 3 3
5 5 5 x x x 3 3 3 x x x 1 1 1

You should be doing it on purpose rather than on accident. Sounds like a bad habit you might want to break. But if it sounds alright and gives you a unique sound and it doesn't bother you, don't worry about it. Keep on playin. -Dan
