i have a question, im getting ready to buy an electric, and shortly after get some pedals. my question is that can i run two guitars through the same pedal board, because some of the pedals i would like to use for my acoustic as well...or will i have to buy two of each of the pedals i woudl like use and have two seperate boards...one for my electric, and the other for my acoustic....thanks in advance...john

buy a small mixer (like the behringer 602A), you can run multiple instruments into that, and then have one line out to the pedal board.

the 802a is a better deal imho... i was going to buy the 602a, but ended up paying another 20 bucks for the 802a. I'm extremely happy with it.

You could always...unplug your electric and plug the acoustic in? That's the old school method.

haha that was gunna be my answer... id definatley get a mixer.. musicansfriend is sellling a really nice mixer for like 60 bucks or something like that... check it ou in the deals section

haha, the problem is that i run my acoustic through a PA and my electric through an amp.

You could buy an A/B box and run one line into it from the pedal board and then one line from the box to the PA and the other line from the box to the amp. Then when you switch guitars you just hit the button on the A/B box and you're all set.
