Notes:
This is my first attempt at taping at a large
venue such as The Gorge. It was a little
windy where I was + my inexperience gave a few
tracks a less than desirable wind noise.

Bit Torrent is just a method of downloading that isn't so taxing on my bandwidth. If the Howie Shows don't work for you, it's probably because I moved them from using Bit Torrent to my server. If I have, I've put a note on the page.

I haven't had a chance to download any tracks yet, I need to clear off my hard disc a bit yet first, but I noticed you were talking about a bit of wind noise in your recording?

What kind of screens / shock protection were you using? The MC012s don't come with any screens, so it's hard for us on Team Oktava. Shambro taught me to use two Radio Shack screens together to make one kick ass perfect size screen for the MC012s. If you go to Radio Shack, you'll see two types of big wind screens. The long black one, and a bigger clown nose type, usually comes in red/brown. Get em both. You'll fit the long black one over the body of the mic and over the element, then the clown nose just goes over that one. It's a perfect fit, and I've not had any wind problems since I started using that combination!

That's exactly what I used, but it was very windy 20' high.

20 ft high? Man you must have gotten lucky. You must not have been in the path of the camera because Craig had to take his stand down to 8' because of the camera...

Peace

more like 16-17' for me, but yeah, I noticed those that had to lower their stands (or for some reason just had low stands).
