an interesting first gig

well this is prob the most interesting first gig i could've had, here she goes:

Place: post-ring dance party.
Setlist: i was drunk as fuck, but i remember playing at least parts of bartender, 41, you are my sanity, crash, lie in our graves, too much, what would you say, 34, crush, and stone. then just fucking around with some chords. (definitely ad libbed "fuck up the song a little more" when i played crash and fucked it up beyond all recognition).
Setting: Outside, on the deck, playing a bunch of dmb with people fucking in the pool to the beat.

interesting side note: i can sing and play while intoxicated, but only play while sober, and i'm told i sounded really good.

I thought everything was going to explode at our first gig. Our drummer spilled a beer into the power strip that all of our equipment was plugged into. It kept things interesting.
