The disc is only like 20 mins long though, and it's difficult to listen to Mother Father because the feed keeps droping. It sounds like it's skipping. And it ends right before Angel (for better or worse).

Nope the parking lot doesn't open till 4:30. And from what I've heard verizon wireless did away with any early tailgaiting when they took over. So I'm not sure. I e-mailed them, but the didn't respond. Plus, I've never been there, so I don't know what the surroundings are like.

I think this is gonna be our first annual DMB roadtrip weekend, even though we've taken weekends to see DMB before, this is the first time it's been a road trip for us. (I don't consider the 2 hour drive to Detriot a roadtrip). Well the last time they played in Kalamazoo was 12.3.96 I wanted to go, my brother went, buy my mom said I was 'too young' (I was 13) Rediculous (oh yeah, they played Let You Down full band that night!!!!). So the next closest show since was Grand Rapids, that was an hour drive for me. That was in '99 though. That place is sweet though (Van Andel Arena) Seats little more than 10,000 I think. Sweet place to see a show though, because they have it set up so the bleachers at the end retract, so there is no one behind the stage and the can put more out front on the floor. It's perfect for an arena concert.

Man what a great couple of nights. Thanks KJ for the heads up on that hotel...it was def. nice walking to Polaris in half the amount of time it would've taken to drive there.

I thought first night of Polaris was pretty good...I was so hyped when they busted out in Nancies. How'd you guys like that longer intro to YNK? Carter's part was awesome! Song That Jane Likes and Nancies were the highlight for me....I thought the encore was a little weak but it was easily forgiven. Sorry I didn't hit you up after the show KJ I completly forgot.

Second night we were just wasted....which probably wasn't a good thing because it took us a little longer to get to the venue and just got to our seats before Pig. I would say 2nd night Polaris is right behind 6-4 in my favorites. Say Goodbye and that 41 were hittin! We had pretty good seats this night and my boy actually grabbed some nice pictures with my thow-away camera.

I liked RiVERBEND a lot too...it was a nice stand alone show with some radio hits and sweet songs. Our hotel was about 10 mins away so we had to take a cab there and back. I left my camera in the cab and lost some great DMB pictures. My boy Jeff and I started drinking at 2pm so we were sloshed by the time the concert started. I remember calling Erik but I probably sounded like a drunken fool.

It's good to be back in good old Michigan with our 70 mph. speed limit and lack of "Cracker Barrel" restaurants.

I do miss those Waffle Houses and no 10 cent depost for beer :D

Have to hit the weekend hard after a nice drinking week like this one....Wellesley security had some choice words for us 2nd night in the hotel.

I also got run down by Polaris security after I took some of those black folding chairs that were sitting next to the exit....I thought it was like the Michigan Stadium where they took peoples lawn chairs at the gates because they aren't allowed in....I thought they were free for the taking afterward.

:lol that sucks, but that is funny. Those chairs are such a rip-off. You can't bring in blankets or chairs because they make you pay $5 per chair that just get in the way anyway when people stand up during the show. That is one of my gripes about Polaris...too much $$ for things (and traffic).

So how was everybodys weekend? Mine was nice and relaxing (if you can believe that;)). I drove up to Mt. Pleasant on Friday night with my friend Jen. We got to there at around 11:30 and went straight to the bar. Drank a lot and then went out to eat after. Then yesterday I went over my friend Angies at around 5pm and her and I drank the rest of the day. I was in bed by midnight:D

I hope you are kidding, because if not you are just plain WRONG, I know it is opinion but you are WRONG. Fuck Greg Howard, they don't need him, and they showed they don't need him. Everyday --> Ants was rediculous. The end of Everyday, was pure old school #36 jam, just like L@RR, right into the snare of Ants. It was AMAZING. Mid-Set Billies! Seek Up opener, Proudest-->Satellite. JANE. They pulled out Crash. First night. Stone, Pig, NANCIES-->WAREHOUSE was just unbelievable. The energy of these two nights was just off the charts. Best weekend of the tour far and away! Even Grace is Gone got a HUGE jam with Dave dancin' all over. Like I said by half-way through the second night, I didn't want Greg Howard to come out, I didn't care if Dreaming Tree wasn't going to be played, because I was having the most fun I had ever had in my life.

who the fuck said anything about NEEDING him there? It would have been NICE if he came out and guested but I don't recall anyone saying that DMB would NEED Greg Howard at Deer Creek...Greg Howard has a long history with the band and the Charlottesville music scene in general so I would THINK the natural and respectful thing to do would have been to invite him on stage seeing as how it is rare now that Greg and DMB are ever in the same place at the same time. It was so glaringly obvious that they were going to do something together and they didn't. It pissed me off and I feel bad for Greg. Last Sunday night at Leopolds he was so excited about playing with DMB and said he really wanted to, and he'd make it his top priority to do so.

Thanks. Seeing as how you jumped to the conclusion that I was miserable the entire time I was there, I though I'd let you know how let down I was when my third row seats turned out to be front row directly in front of Boyd. I was let down when Butch smiled and pointed at me several times during the show. I was also let down when I heard a Stone opener, and Nancies->Warehouse for the first time in my 21 shows. And then there was the time Dave was over by us and he looked at me and pointed when my brother and I cheered for him - boy was I ever dissapointed. But most of all, I was let down when I met Butch and Boyd after the show.

My previous post was NOT an attack on you and you used your reply to say some things about me. You don't even know me, so just chill out.

Thank you! These shows were unreal, that's all I can even say about them. These shows kicked the shit out of any COMERiCA show. They were just plain rediculous, the sets look like the rest from this summer, but even my friend who was at WPB said these were better.

You know the kid from that Guster show at Notre Dame who got up and played violin with them? Well I was talking to my cousin this weekend and he was tellin' me about this kid who he used to play violin with, while he would play guitar and another kid would play sax. And then he was like, "yeah he was really good at the violin, actually when Guster played he got up on stage with them." I was like no way! I've heard that show! I just thought it was funny that my cousin knew that kid really well.

What are you talking about??? haha...yeah I know what you mean. Erik used to correct my spelling mistakes on away messages and stuff. I used to get so pissed at him for that!
