Here they say "this has been discussed" and kindly provide a link. Plus nancies doesn't allow polls, smilies, PMs, attachments, sigs, avatars, statuses, or automatic vB code. It almost feels like a prison. But I still go there a lot, I just don't post often because I don't have time to get in lengthy discussions, so I find myself over here on this thread a lot.

Just buy everything used on Amazon and Half. I've saved fortunes since I started doing that. Then post them for sale for cheaper than everyone else, which is usually more than what the bookstores offer you. Don't mess with the bookstores unless you have to buy something new, then you really get screwed.

Yeah. Go to the bookstore beforehand and write down all the ISBN's from the books you need. That will give you the exact match when you search for it on Amazon and Half (most of the time, sometimes you'll need to search by author or title). The only problem with doing this though, is that you can't return them if you decide not to take the class. Just something to keep in mind.

Last year when I went to the OSU-UM game we bought the super, super cheap seats at the door, then walked right down to the lower level, sat a few rows behind the OSU bench the whole time. Michigan Basketball will have a very good season this year. Tommy Amaker is going to be here for a long time, and he demonstrated last night that he is a hell of a coach. If you watched that game, you'd understand why the fans rushed the court. It's been about, oh 5 1/2 years or so since we've had ANYTHING to be excited about (I refer to us beating Duke in 97). Wisconsin was supposed to plow over us, after all they are the defending Big Ten champs, remember. It's not that we beat Wisconsin that caused our fans to go crazy, it was that we finally have something to be excited about.
