he was worried about the fact that he was going to 4 in a row at the very start of the tour, where as he could spread the shows out more, since the end of the tour usually has the better shows. But obviously he has nothing to worry about, the shows are gonna be amazing and diverse. Even if they play the same songs, they won't be the same each night, because that's how great DMB is. Whereas Mayer loves to use the same stories and etc, each night, like "burning T-shirts."


Also, Joey never said he doesn't like Mayer, look at his sig for example. He just was commenting on the setlists that Mayer uses. I didn't see anything in his post indicating a dislike for Mayer.

Oh man. Have you ever heard more than like two Dave and Tim shows off the same tour? Dave uses the same stories everynight as well. Can you say Afrin, it was used everynight of that tour. no, for the last few days he's been talking about how bad the sets are in the fact that they're the same and he's going to four in a row, when I went to visit him at work just two days ago he went off on it.

and the only "stories" mayer uses the same night it seems is the burning t-shirts and I won't screw up if I go to TRL. 3/5 and 3/6 were so vastly different as far as talking goes and him just rambling off when someone would yell something. when he introduces a song and talks about it, unless he's lying each time, it's not like he can change the story too much either.

we're staying at the radisson. i really like foodlife, its kinda like a marketplace where they give you a credit card type thing and there are different food stations where youcan get whatver you want and they put it on the credit card and you pay at the end. thats in the watertower (on michigan ave, its a mall). also, there is cheesecake factory which is in the bottom of the hancock building.
