Halloween Question

I've been learning to play halloween, i used the tabs from www.dmbtabs.com , and when i play the opening riff to it it just doesn't sound right to me...is there a site where there's an audio of the song...any help would be sweet.

the tab is right, I cant help with a clip but listen to Dave & Tim do it, thats what helped me.

there really isnt too much to the guitar part of the song

I find it easier to play like this:

E--xxxxxx
B--xxxxxx
G--xxxxxx
D--3/9xx10
A--xxxxxx
E--1/7xx8

I hope that makes sense. But I just gotta dropped out the 2/8 slide. I do'nt hear it on the album version. Plus if you get a chance to watch the halloween video from 9-7-02, that's what it looks like he plays.

i also mute between betseen 1x3 and 7x9 ...then i mute from 10x12 back up to 1x3

i never used to hear the 2/8 slide. it's kinda funny, you don't hear what you don't play. then one day i was just looking at a tab for the song and i saw the 2/8 slide, so i tried playing it. then i listened to l@luther and i heard it a lot more clearly. it ties the 1/3 and the 7/8 together.

Thanks for the help...i've been watching the live at the 10 spot halloween and dave does the 2/8 slide on that.

same way with me, I think it sounds much better with the slide
