From e to g

If you are looking at a section of music set up in the grand staff it would be from the e in the middle of the bass cleft to the first g of the treble cleft.

so does Dave do baritone and tenor at the same time...Dave goes higher than the average tenor...he hits the a in the treble cleff...impressive...but if my voice goes from low low c to f in the treble cleff and I'm only 14 and taking voice lessons...with work...couldn't i be a tenor...

Yes you could be a tenor, you don't have to fit the range exactly. That is just the normal range. Many tenors can go a few notes higher like Dave does by singing falsetto. The more versitile you are the better off you'll be. I wouldn't really worry about it right now if I were you. There's more to life than vocal ranges.

so when Dave hits the A notes and the ones higher than G...like the yeahhhh in #41 and in #36 at times... is he going falsetto...oh yeah...and vocal ranges is practically my life...haha...I play guitar piano and sing pretty well...so I am taking lessons to make it sound better...but the only music I listen to is up high...so it is kinda what I need...if I can't accomplish having a vocal range like the one that dave has...I won't even enjoy music anymore...

I'm not sure whether or not Dave is singing falsetto in those cases. I'm pretty sure he is during the last half of Bartender, which is when many have said he hits a high A.

It may just be that the A is in his range.

Ask whoever is giving you lessons, they should have a better idea.

Real tenors should be able to sing the A or B flat above middle C...and Real baritones should be able to sing to the F above middle C...and a Real Bass should just be able to hit somewhere bitween low c and middle c as thier highest. I am a baritone and I'm going to have to basically be able to sing tenor parts...it's strnage beacause Dave can do baritone and tenor...I guess he's just lucky...

yeah, Dave has a good range. That part in Spoon was what impresses me, about Dave's singing. He shouldn't be able to go that high but he does it and does it well. damn him  ;)
And in Everyday, he goes pretty high. #41 too.
