I jsut got it installed and loogged onto the dmbshare.servebeer.com hub.....and I cannot do a search, or browse others' files. Anyone?

Its most likely the Active/Passive issue. If you are behind a firewall or router, you need to port forward the port 412 to allow Direct Connect to pass through the router to be active. To port forward, its different in every router so consult your router or firewall manual to learn how to do that. If that doesnt work, just go to Settings and switch your control from active to passive.

If it were the router I am running through, would it allow me to see all the users connected? I can see them, just can't do anything...

i got the same router problem, its the passive/active thing. you gotta forward a port or something that ive tried and it still doesnt work, but thats what they tell me to do. sorry :-\

Just switch to passive mode (settings/connections/use DC in Passive mode) and you'll be able to search/dl from the majority of users.
In "passive" mode you won't be able to dl from anyone else who is in "passive" mode. However, If you figure out how to forward the port you'll be able to dl from everyone.
