you can name the folder with their names if you do it like this
dmb2002-12-21.dpa4022.shnf Brown

huh?
I always try to name them with the source ie. mk4 on my server,
but on the http server, I think generally speaking people understand *_Naylor more then akg481 so....... I try to do both...for example, dm2002-12-24.mk4.shnf_DH
I think that makes it easier for everyone, is that wrong? or did I misunderstand you?

oh yeah i understand that, just trying to keep to a standard naming convention. tapers don't release there shows with their names in the folder name.
so looking at your above example the folder would originally be called: dmb2002-12-21.dpa4022.shnf
you won't see any 'dmb2002-12-21.dpa4022.shnf Brown' on my server.
just trying to make sure people understand for trading & b&p purposes.

yeah it makes it easier for people who don't understand, but personally i wouldn't want a shn folder named that way. guess its just personal preference.
i also just like to cause trouble :bounce

true, but does that really matter? If the CD is sitting on a shelf somewhere, you shouldn't be dwelling on it too much, you can always re-burn it to you liking then trade those
:p
