I'm actually getting Stream!

Tonight I thought I would look for a tab for Stream and try it out, not expecting to be able to play any of it, but i can actually play like 2 parts right now! I'm so excited to get it down perfect! Can anyone here play it? Do you have any good tips on what made it easy/hard for you to learn? I'm so excited and its such a fun song to play (even if I can't play all of it)! :multi

to play stream:

1. pour gasoline on hand.

There was a TR thread a little earlier that kind of tangented, but here was my advice:

"Pay attention to your picking (you'll probably need one to play Stream. Tim uses one on this). If you aren't picking it "right" or efficiently you won't be able to keep up. For me the hold up on this song is the picking hand, not the fretting hand.

Also after you have the individual riffs down pretty well, practice the transitions a lot. Being able to blaze through the riffs in a vacuum won't do you much good when you play the whole song if you can't switch between them.

Stick to the riffs until you have the basic Play-Really-Fast-but-Not-Sloppy skills down. Then work on that solo part."

The right hand technique is definately the hardest for me. I'm sure I can think of better advice than that, so I'll post it when I do. ;)
