i'm sitting here playin it while watching the video from dmbtabs and i have all the chords down, yet i can't get the pattern down. it sounds all off,can anyone help?

it took me a long time too....for me its all about the up strokes...make sure youre gettin those in the right place.

the thing is i don't know when to do what, all i'm doin for now is down strokes, i don't have anything to go by, could you send me the strokes you do seeing you have it down.

its kind of hard to explain cuz its just up down up down, but then there is a little pause before the note switches. I can't promise that I play it exactly like dave does....but i dont think you really need to. just keep practicin...youll get it. THe video should help though, cuz you can hear it pretty cleanly. good luck!

i only started a little while ago as well...what other songs are you tryin?

yeah thats sick. I play some DMB, but right now I enjoy playing other stuff more because its more at my skill level.

yeah i kinda ahck away at it. i play green day stuff too, its mostly 3 chords, so im good at it. i also attempt to write my own stuff but that doesn't go to well.
