my spanish teacher asked me to play, and i told her i'd play a set of songs. im not singing (wouldn't want to do that to poor innocent people) , so im just gonna play 2-3 min "teases" with some variation thrown in by me. the class probably don't know even a quarter of what i play but it'll be interesting guitar work, so why not. what do you think of this?
Pantala Naga Pampa>>>>
Granny
Tripping Billies (Nature Intro, Minarets Chorus instead of Billies verse)
Lie In Our Graves (straight through, my favorite to play =) )
Jimi Thing
(Digging a Ditch)>>>
Grace is Gone
(Dancing Nancies)>>
(Dreaming Tree)>>
Drive In, Drive Out
(The Stone)>>
Crash
Where Are You Going
(Two Step)>>
(#41)>>
Rhyme and Reason
Satellite (save the fastest and hardest for last, right?) =)
now when i say tease i mean i only know like one part of the song so ill play that part right into another song, and im not playing all of these songs to their full lengths, because the guitar parts are repeatitive on some. i get to be dave matthews for a day
and yes i know how to play ALL of those

If you can play the outro to jimi thing like on listener supported or how they played it in 99 and 2000 with that kinda improved guitar solo, do it for sure. Everytime I jam to that and someone is listening or watching, it normally catches their attention. It's also a really fun part to play in my opinion. Have fun jammin in front of your class too. Show them what real music sounds like!

Thats what I asked. In my opinion, hell no. I've found with almost every Dave song, #1) Its hard to play it like Dave because he has his own style thats easy for him; and #2) They're easy to play, but hard to make sound good.

yeah, aren't you supposed to play flamenco music or something? YET, dmb always is a success.

Satellite has a constant tempo and rhythm while the other two have dynamic rhythms (changing). So Satellite could be considered easier, depending your opinion. They're all equal for me.

If you haven't done it yet...record it or just the same set at home sometime. That sounds awesome.
