I have this mp3 of a song called "Sorry, So Sorry", by Howie Day and John Mayer, and it's actually pretty good, and I was wondering if anyone knew who was playing electric in it for the solos and such.

unless it was live, then it shouldnt be John Mayer. On Howie's album version, he plays acoustic and hes got another guy playing electric. If John Mayer did actually play a live version with him, then I guess Mayer would be on electric.

yeah Mayer played w/ him live...on my version of the song he goes "I'd like to introdude a friend of mine...Jonny M."

Mayer does real nice fills on that song
