What should I look for? (Advice)

I am getting to the point where I want to plug my Acoustic in. I've never done it before so can anyone give me some advice/ideas on what kind of amp to get? It'd mostly be for just playing at home and maybe for some friends. I have an Acoustic/Electric Takamine EG334SC. Any ideas guys/gals?

You don't really need to go all out at first. Just get a regular guitar amp or used acoustic style one and see if you're actually going to use it very much.

I like playing my acoustic/electric through an amp. I just run it through my Fender Princeton 65, which is great for electric guitars. If you're just using it in your house you really don't need anything extravagant.

Buy cheap now, spend a lot later if you become really committed.
