i was readin the alpine thread, and they seem to think that dave's a.s.t.b. dance last year at alpine was better than the one at polaris night 2..... now i wasnt at alpine to witness theirs, but i was at polaris night 2 to witness the one there, and i must say, i dont really think the one at polaris can be topped.... anyone else there to see it? david went fucking insane, actually throwing his guitar on his back, and just tearin up the floor..... i was wonderin if anyone had a pic of that dance at all.... that would be sweet

getting very excited, the days are goin faster and faster, rockey we meetin up before, what should i bring for the cookout, and also, are the cops really that strict that noone can drink. i went to post gazette last summer and its against the law to have an open container there yet we got there at 3:30 and there were kids drinking on the highway. then when we got in it was even crazier, everyone was drinking, should i be worried?

hell yeah we're meetin up before the show.... did you forget who was in charge of the greens?:D bring whatever you want for the koco.... if you go back a few pages , J2 posted a link to show what everyone is plannin on bringin..... i dont know how strict they are about drinkin... i dont drink so i've never had to find out(knocks on wood)

Just for clarifiation, it's only the second round, because the only better thing at this point would be if this game getting ready for 3x O.T. would be if it were for Lord Stanley's Cup.

This is something I've thought of while just sitting around watching this game not knowing who to cheer for. Someone asked what everyone's real name was earlier, how about some contact info, whether aim or otherwise. It would make it a little easier communicating. Just a thought though.

Something I've always found to be of some help is to bring either a mug or a cup that holds the liquids, that way you aren't left holding a bottle or can. As for the greens, can't help you much there.

OK...I give in and join in this thread! I have been reading it for a couple of days and DMBdude79 has just hinted about the cookout.

My friend and I will be traveling from Tennessee to watch the opening two nights......and we may actually come up a night early if you guys will be kind enough to have us at the KOCO!! We are so excited about this event!

We can't bring a grill, but we could provide other things...like food.

And by the way, I think the guys that started this thread are cool! And I think prelawMike is cool too.....

I currently have the list of what everyone is willing to contribute. I have to do a quick update and then I will post it back up on here. How far of a drive is it for you to get to C-bus?

Mongoose... how many entrances are there to the Big P? I want to say there are 3, but I can't quite remember. If my memery is correct, as you approached on the Parkway from the west there is a first one, then we cooked on the second drive last year, and the third is the handicapped and Premier parking entrance. Is my memory correct? If not, since you're down there, could you correct me...

well if you're willing to make the poster/banner, that is great. we can figure out exactly what is says later, but i would assume we want it to include "kick off cook out" and "antsmarching.org" i'm sure someone on this thread will have some clever ideas for it.

yeah, i would think if you don't want to leave early, you probably would have to get to c-bus a day early. right now it looks like the KOCO will start around 2... but that could all change

Jon, I went and checked out polaris today and you had it right, we are at the second entrance. Traffic has gottan 3 times as bad since last year. And this was a 2pm, so I found a much better route to beat the polaris area and 71, I'll get a little write up in a bit. I think the banner is a good idea, but first we need a good creative slogan, sorry none from me.
I got some good pictures I can post later.

Yeah, I'm excited about making the banner...we will just have to decide what it will say soon because I will need to do it by May 22nd. (I am a teacher and that is when we close shop for summer.)

We have pretty much decided to be in Columbus by Monday night, and the only reason we're coming early is for KOCO! :D

I'm catching up on all that has gone on today since I left for work and am just now getting home. Let me just say that girls suck, women rule. There is a difference between the two because I've found out the hard way this week.

Anyway, for something more exciting and up-beat, I'm Chris. I am also coming from just above Cincy so the most descriptive and detailed driving directions because I suck with them. If I think of something else or read something that sparks a comment I'll keep us on top b/c I'm going to be up awhile. I found out last week it is actually more fun to do my job at work while hung over because not only does time move faster, it's funny to deal with stupid people (both employees and customers).

It's mainly just one age denomination of the female species, those pesky teens. Although she is in her late teens, it doesn't matter because I've actually got a lady friend willing to take me out after work today. Good afternoon, how is everyone doing today, last night was defintaly a good time, I'll tell you a quick story about it.
Its about 9am and my friend Lust (Bmd...) and I were going to wake up heath, so were looking around and go well....wheres heath, he yells from another room, "I'm over here, I'm hiding from pissing steve". Of course this sparks some questions, and a little story comes out.
Heath is sleeping on the floor and lust is sleeping on the couch, when steve comes over and tells lust to get out of here. Lust decides he doesnt care and leaves. Heath wakes up and hears water, steve is pissing onto a cabnit thinking its the bathroom.
Heath starts yelling at him and hitting him "stop it man, quit pissing down here" and he is wailing on him. Steve doesnt have a clue yelling things like I'm in the bathroom, go away, and I'm pissing. After no sucess heath leaves and goes to sleep in the other room.
In the morning he tells us this story and no one belives him because theres no water and steve doesnt remember. We call josh who was sober to confirm it happend and of course he said it did. But theres still the problem of the cabit not being wet, and we were getting suspicious of heaths story until someone lifted up one of the speakers and low and be hold,.....puddles.
After a half hour of steve cleaning we all left, and I didnt get a hangover...boom, I like giving blood and drinking.

I know of a few but they are like 30 min away so it depends on when you want to go or if you want to drive that far.

It pays to be a Buckeye, unlike a Volunteer. But I've done nothing but work all week and when I was off work I was at school. Not to mention the previous mentioned girl problems. When is your probation supposed to run out? The idea of coming to the cook out extra hungry sounds pretty nice. When I stopped by to take pictures yesterday there was a big set of woods on either side, I was gonna plan on going off in there to "go to the bathroom", rather than drive through all the traffic and stuff stoned.

My day was a complete waste. I went to church, then Panera for lunch with my mom, where we waited for like half an hour for our food. Then we went to Sam's club, cause my mom wanted to buy a safe, god knows why. So we go there, wait like 45 minutes for them to bring the safe to the front of the store, we realize it's 330 lbs... so we can't put it in my mom's car. We come home, borrow our neighbor's piece of shit minivan, go back to Sam's, me and 2 guys load this thing in the back. We come home, realize... oh, shit, this thing's heavy... there's no way we're getting it out of here. So now it's sitting in our neighbor's van until we figure out a way to get it out. By the time this is all over with, it's about 5:00 So awesome that on the nicest day this weekend i was sitting inside a warehouse, driving shitty cars, or carrying heavy shit. I need a beer.

But on a lighter note.... 50 days!

My day turned out to be rather productive or not depending how you look at it. After I went to church, I went to burgerking with my friend heath, we got a 50% discount because I used my sisters gold card (good grades), then it came time for the usual sunday adventure. Theres not alot to do on sundays so most of the time we drive around and find random things that are happening.
Today we took a trip to the lions den to look around, if you know what this is your are either laughing or a have a :confused: look on your face, the man at the counter was far too happy to be at a adult bookstore on a sunday. After seeing our ID's he called heath, Flash Gorden for the rest of the time. After looking around and spoting a 6 foot penis inflatable punching bag, its decided that the guy at the counter is scaring us and its time to leave.
Next we headed over to the sciota dam, that is near my house and parked across the street and quickly ran across the road to the other side. There are two sides one is the park side where people fish and there is a pathway and everything, the otherside has no parkinglot and it really just rocks and waterfalls down to the river.
So after parking the car and running across the highway we come to he little wall that must be scaled, but once we get down the wall we realize that the water is too high to cross at that point and we climb back up to the other parts father down. After a hike farther down, heath decideds that the rocks arnt bad and will leave his shoes at the top. I on the other hand favor not having cut up feet leave mine on. Further down we find a 10ft water fall emptying down into a pool, there is a rock ledge that is right next to it where you can sit and watch the water, we also found a few little pools that werent moving to fast and would be nice to sit by or take a quick dip into, but mostly just as a really good place to S-A-B (BDMB knows what this is). So after relaxing there for a bit, we leave and go home, heath with his cut up feet and all.
I mow the lawn, play a little guitar and eat some buckeyes, today was a good day.

I met someone on the wh board who was willing to sell me 2 blossom seats, but he got them through the wh. so i send him the money, i trust him def., but what if the tickets are shipped right before, he's in michigan and i'm in ohio, how will i be sure to egt the tickets on time, this is also true for riverbend, but that guy is in new york,so that means they go to him then he sends them to me, and its for both nights, i'm nervous that i might not get them in time, should i be????


also, me and my buddy split his wh account, and its in his name, so what if the leave my polaris tickets at will-call, he isn't going to that one with me???

Definatly, last day is june 2. Going to OU next year, that is going to be a experiance, right now I am undecided but am thinking politcal science, biology, history, something like that. If it has math, I'm not doing it.

drivin home one night, got pulled over and they found my crown royal bag with my pipe in it.... but i should have never been pulled over... i was goin the speed limit, seat belt was on, i wasnt swerving, i did nothing wrong.... i later found some art on the back of my car though,you know where it gets dirty and shit... my friend drew 420 all over the place and acid bears all over the place, so i think thats why i got pulled over..... got use of marijuana charge out of it.... then a couple months later, i got busted again in my buddies appartment, we all got arrested and pot possession tickets

I am not really that great at it. I can understand it, but my test scores arent all A's or anything like that. I do think it is a little bit interesting, especially when it relates to other fields such as physics or engineering. Like I said, I guess I am just a dork. But a dork who loves Dave!
