FYI: the dmb cover band is playing june 3 and july 22 at Plaza @ Promowest Pavillion. Its free from 4-7, then its like $7 or 8 after 7pm. They play until 12am.

Just got tickets to go to the first show at polaris!! :multi I have never been to this venue before and I was wondering if there are a lot of people that tailgate in the parking lot or is it done at locations close by? Any tricks to getting good parking to get out with no problems as well? Any tips would be appreciated!

I've been there a few times and haven't had a terrible problem with parking. Could just be luck, but I did go there for opening night last year and also farm aid. which gate entrance is the best?...I always go in the first gate if you're coming from the I-71 exit. This is will be my first time I actually get to tailgate so I want to be in the best tailgating spot. Anyone else near me (Sec. E Row T)?

The trick is getting there very early and getting a paved parking spot right next to V.I.P. And if you drive a vehicle that can go over curbs that is even better. Get to your car as soon as you can and just drive over the median between regular and V.I.P. lots.

As far as I know that is true, Some tailgate just outside the gates for hours before opening.

I think I'm going with the Country Inn and Suites because its like 4 miles away...its the closest one I could find that isn't booked already for either night. There are also the Fairfield (8 mi), Sheraton Suites, Super8, and the Hampton Inn, but I'm not sure where they are at or if they are really bad places to stay. Maybe someone else will have ideas.

I was at both Deer Creek shows, and I think .o.a.r. was the most I've ever see a crowd into an opener at a DMB show. I'm thinking the crowd will be even more pumped in the second home of C-bus.

Anyways, the setlists at Deer Creek were off the hook. I was camping at the venue, so we got to hear them soundcheck for the second night...DDTW, Space Between, OSW, and Recently.... Once I heard them soundcheck Recently I knew we were in for a good show. Here's to hoping for catching soundcheck at Polaris and getting some new songs.

Hopefully a Seek Up...maybe we should bring signs to night one, and hope they work it out for night two...
