I really never complain about setlists, but there is an amazing lack of jam songs in that setlist tonight. And why do songs from Everyday and Busted Stuff still get the most play?

And Everyday is the worst closer ever, most likely.

I mean, my complaint isn't that they aren't playing rare songs, or not mixing it up enough, or playing too much Everyday songs. My only complaint is that if Roi and Boyd aren't combined soloing at least half as much as Dave is singing... I feel like the show is missing an important element.

I very respectfully disagree. I used to see shows where they would play Seek, LIOG, 41, Two Step, Typical, Jimi, Billies, Ants, Watchtower, and Nancies in one set. And I'm not saying that they should still play sets like that. They have tons of new material. But if they are going to play four Everyday songs, can't Roi have a soprano sax jam on Everyday and Boyd have a solo during Fool?

well as of now, it looks like real good songs will be on night 2. so if you're not fortunate enough to hit both or any, then you'll just have to settle for "mediocre" if that's how you see it.

Remember the way we view the songs and the way the band sees them is completely different.

i saw both but the back corners of the lawn appeared to have room still so I don't the first night was a sell out. I maybe tougher to get tickets tomorrow. Best of Luck!

I went with the Billies opener.... gotta feeling it's gonna be Bartender... but i'm hesitant to put in any songs they haven't played yet, strictly for percentage reasons... i've got an awesome feeling about my set... i thought i did crappy last night because i didn't realize PNP counted even if it wasn't on the dmband setlist, so with the insertion of that song, it moved 3 of my other songs into their correct spots and gave me 33 points total.... i'm breakin the 40 point mark tonight, i can feel it
